About us
The Methodist Churches in the Diaspora have largely been established through the efforts of Ghanaian Methodists - Lay and Clergy. Bethel Methodist Church, Calgary is a vibrant and growing church located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
The founding of the Bethel Methodist Church, Calgary began with initial ideas and efforts of Methodist brothers and sisters who had settled in Calgary in August 2008. They were inspired by the Lord to start regular Bible studies to mobilize members within the Ghanaian community in Calgary. Over time, the number increased as more people joined and the Study Group eventually became the Bethel Methodist Church in Calgary. The first church service was held on March 13, 2011. The church was inaugurated on August 3, 2014.
